From the Inside Out

From the Inside Out
  • A thousand times I've failed
Still your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in your grace
  • Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
  • My heart and my soul, I give You control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise, become my embrace
To love You from the inside out
  • Your will above all else, my purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
  • My heart, my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out
  • Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out, O my soul cries out
  • This is a song we sang today in Chapel, and it was like I was just hearing it for the first time. I realized that this song is really what I want; I want God to consume me from the inside out. I desire to lose myself in him, to put his will above my own. I will be forever thankful that when I stumble, God is right there to save and rescue me.

Hey, Livvy! I didn't read it all, but from the little I read it sounds like a great song! Do you know who wrote it?

It is a good song. I tried to find who wrote it, but I'm not sure. Sorry!
